Montenegrin fruit, fresh and dried

0 products

In the same season Montenegro produces pomegranates and figs on the Ulcinj plain and wild blueberries on Bjelasica — about 1,500 metres of altitude apart. Local seasons therefore do not line up with what supermarket shelves suggest, which is the argument for buying fruit when the grower is actually picking it.

This category covers fruit in season, dried figs and plums, candied fruit and pressed juices with no added sugar. Worth asking: the variety, where and at what altitude it grew, and how it was dried — sun-dried and dehydrator-dried fruit are not the same product.
